Monday: Edinburgh → Glenelg 


  • Kinross Services: Fuel stop
  • Scenic Ride: Pass through Glendevon and Gleneagles.
  • Crieff: Quick stop at Glenturret Distillery, Scotland’s oldest working distillery.
  • Sma’ Glen: Ride through this picturesque passage into the Highlands.
  • Kenmore: Lunch break on the banks of Loch Tay.
  • Tummel Bridge: Continue northward.
  • Dalwhinnie: Fuel and rest stop.
  • A86 to Spean Bridge: Pass by the Commando Memorial with views of Glen Garry and Ben Nevis.
  • Shiel Bridge: Final fuel stop of the day.
  • Ratagan Pass: Ride over this twisting road with views of the Five Sisters of Kintail.
  • Glenelg: Arrive for the evening stay.



Tuesday: Isle of Skye Exploration 


  • Morning: Take the MV Glenachulish, the world’s last manually operated turntable ferry, to the Isle of Skye.
  • Wildlife Spotting: Potential sightings of sea eagles and other wildlife during the crossing.
  • Explore Skye:
  • Visit Talisker Distillery.
  • See Neist Point Lighthouse.
  • Explore Uig and The Quiraing.
  • Traverse the Trotternish Ridge.
  • Stop by Portree.
  • Evening: Return ferry to Glenelg for the night.




Wednesday: Glenelg → Edinburgh


  • 10:00 AM: Depart Glenelg.
  • Ratagan Pass: Ride back over this scenic route to Shiel Bridge.
  • Commando Monument: Turn onto B8004 towards Gairlochy.
  • Banavie: Stop at Neptune’s Staircase, a series of eight locks on the Caledonian Canal.
  • Fort William: Pass through this town on the A82.
  • North Ballachulish: Continue southward.
  • Glen Coe and Rannoch Moor: Enjoy the stunning scenery.
  • Tyndrum: Stop at the Green Welly for a break.
  • Return: Head back to Dalkeith to conclude the tour.
